The U-23 football team represents Ghana in international football competitions in Olympic games, All-Africa Games and CAF U-23 Championship.
Coach Fabin who spoke to SilverSports Edmund Osafo Addo indicated that to stay focus and positive ahead of upcoming international competitions there is the need to keep monitoring players even if there is no program set for the games to begin.
''I think it is early days yet and we are waiting to receive program line up to the start of international competition ..... all the same we are still watching players in the Ghana Premier League to make a formidable squad ahead of camping for impending competitions''

The former Asante Kotoko trainer indicated that the Ghana Premier League has become 'very competitive and entertaining and expected to even get better as time goes on' , as he tipped Dreams FC, Medeama SC, Karela and Kotoko as the best teams so far.
Ghana will host the 2023 Africa games after it was awarded the hosting rights in October 2018 ahead of Nigeria and Burkina Faso.
The 13th edition of the games is expected to be held in three cities - Accra , Kumasi and Cape Coast with dates yet to be confirmed.
Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin expressed optimism of a possible host and win in the upcoming All Africa Games and to help the country participate in the next Olympic Games.
