Hearts of Oak will welcome Karela United to the Accra Sports Stadium in match day 12 of the Special Competition on Wednesday.

The Phobians will be seeking to revenge that painful defeat at Ayinese on match day three.

Hearts lost the game by a lone goal after Solomon Sarfo Taylor's 42nd minute goal separated the two sides in a fiercely contested encounter.

Hearts currently sits on the summit of the table with 22 points after picking an important win against Dwarfs at the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Karela United are having a good season in the competition as they are placed second on the league log with 21 points. They defeated WAFA by 2-0 on Sunday to move up the table. They have accrued 21 points after match day 11.

Asante Kotoko will have to win their match day 12 game against Eleven Wonders to keep their chances of qualifying to the knockout stages of the Special Competition.

The Porcupine Warriors suffered a defeat in their match day 11 against AshantiGold at the Len Clay Sports Stadium. It was a sweet victory for the miners who got their revenge over their regional neighbors.

Kotoko after the defeat are second on the league log with 15 points, four points away from Zone A leaders Medeama who have accrued 19 points. The Zone A is proving to be highly competitive as Aduana are third on the table with 15 points.

A slip by Kotoko will mean Aduana, AshGold who are on 15 and 14 points respectively could see them drop from  second position.
