The Normalization Committee of the Ghana Football Association has ordered a TEMPORARY BAN on Ebusua Dwarfs from using the Cape Coast Stadium as its home venue with immediate effect.

The comes after exasperated fans went on the rampage to attack after their matchday 11 at the Cape Coast Stadium in the on going NC Special Competition where the 'Mysterious Dwarfs' were defeated 2-1 at home against Hearts of Oak.

Match officials and Hearts of Oak players were subjected to brutal beatings during the match day 11 encounter between the two sides.

Supporters of Ebusua Dwarfs exhibited a high level of unsporting behavior when they allegedly invaded the field of play and prevented the match officials from entering the dressing room at halftime.

At the end of the match, supporters of Ebusua Dwarfs held the match officials hostage for about 35 minutes in the dressing rooms in clear violation of the GFA Regulations.

The brutal assault by players, officials and fans of Ebusua Dwarfs at the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday left the victims with no option than to run for their lives as security personnel struggled to restore calm.

The barbaric act has forced the Ghana FA Normalization Committee to ban Ebusua Dwarfs from using the facility to honour their home games in the competition.

''Ebusua Dwarfs will play their NC Special Competition Match day 12 against Dreams FC at the Carl Reindorf park in Dansoman''.

''Meanwhile the Club has been charged by the GFA Prosecutor and could submit a written statement of defense or appear before the Disciplinary Committee on Thursday May 16 at 2:00pm'' the official website of Ghana Football Association reads.
