Kwame Bonsu elated at debut appearance for Black Stars

Hardworking Kotoko attacker, Kwame Bonsu made his debut for the Black Stars of Ghana in a friendly victory against Mauritania on Tuesday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Ghana displayed a continuous show of dominance to thrash the Al-Murabitun of Mauritania 3-1.

The midfielder came off the bench to replace Alfred Duncan in the 70th minute and put up a decent performance.

Bonsu has expressed his elation to feature for the Ghanaian senior national team  after his first call up by Coach Kwasi Appiah.



Turkish based forward Caled Ekuban who scored debut goal for the Black Stars against Kenya in the final 2019 AFCON qualifying match again rounded off an impressive performance with a second goal.

Kwame Bonsu is now in contention for a place in the final AFCON 2019 list of Coach Kwesi Appiah.
