The burial of the late Comfort Afua Amotey Aidoo came off after a burial ceremony at the John Wesley Methodist Cathedral, Palladium in Accra on the morning of Friday, March 15.
The event happened in Accra with various high profile dignitaries including former President John D. Mahama, James Kwasi Appiah and some former footballers in attendance.
The former skipper lost his mother Madam Comfort Afua Aidoo on Saturday, December, 22, 2018 after a short illness. She was 76.
Stephen Appiah is now the the Technical Coordinator of the Black Stars after his historic feat of leading the team to its first ever FIFA World Cup.
Many of Stephen Appiah’s playing colleagues and other leading football stars were spotted at the grounds as they mourned with the former Fernabache midfielder.
There was able representation from the entertainment industry as some actors including Prince David Osei, Oboy Salinko, Bismark the Joke, and radio presenter Amanda Jissih were also present.
