Months after being named top scorer and 3rd Best Player of the 2018 FIFA Women’s U-17 World Cup in Uruguay, the skipper has now received his awards.

Mukarama was presented the two awards by the Normalisation Committee of the Ghana FA at a short ceremony.

Abdulai got 7 together with Spain’s Claudia Pina and also appeared 3rd behind Spain’s Claudia Pena and Mexico’s Nicole Perez in the Best player ratings.

Ghana exited the competition in the quarter after losing 4-2 to Mexico on penalties after the match ended 2-2 after regulation time but Mukarama’s seven goals was enough to win her the award.

The Ghanaian lad who features for Northern Ladies, is also a student of University of Development Stadies and has been offered scholarships by various American Universities.
