Susan Peters, a multiple award winning actress has made a courageous claim that Industry players in the Nollywood fraternity are being forced to bleach their skin to get roles.

In an Instagram post, she claimed that she had been refused roles because of the color of her skin and had been told that she was too dark. She also said it felt as if being dark-skinned was a crime.

“That pressure from people in the industry, has forced some women to use bleaching creams to change their skin color.” Miss Peters boldly said.

Susan Peters, born on the 30th day of May, 1980 is not only popular on the screen but also a renowned model, interior designer who also owns a Beauty Salon.

The 38 year old actress, who couldn’t understand herself, however added that she would not bow to such pressure because she loves her black skin and it is gold.
