Most female celebrities on their social media handles have clearly mentioned that they are philanthropists as being one seems to be a career in Ghana.
But Leila Djansi in addressing this issue mentioned that if one adds philanthropist to his profile, it’s clearly an act of exploiting the weakness of others to his advantage.
“If you have to acknowledge yourself as “Philanthropist on your social media profile, then you’re most probably not showing kindness. You’re exploiting the suffering of others for your personal gain”. Miss Djansi stated.
“Kindness, as far as its ordinary meaning is concerned, is free and anonymous. If it can’t be free and silent, it is not kindness; it is something else.” The filmmaker quoted Joyce Banda to back her stance.
The 37 year-old Award winning Producer, Director and Writer has worked with lots of the industry players on her sets including Ama K. Abebrese, Jocelyn Dumas, Jon Jermain, John Dumelo, Akofa Edjeani Asiedu among others in blockbusters like ‘Ties That Bind’, ‘Northern Affair’ and ‘Sinking Sands’
