As the world observes Radio Day under the theme ‘Dialogue, Tolerance and Peace’ KKD took time to mention a tall list of personalities who has one way or the other helped in grooming him to become what he is today.
Inspired by Mike Eghan the magnificent Emperor and the kind gentleman who informed me on the kerb in front of Kobo Wise Enterprise, community 4, Tema that GBC was setting up an FM station and could use my talent to attract the youth, I moved.
Carl Agyeman Bannerman had attended just one contest I organized and spun vinyl records at in Big Daddys Palace, Jatokrom and had since invited me as a guest artiste on his solid Black to speak on youth trends, contemporary music & pop culture.
At age 20 I had attended for interview and audition, worked as a contracted artiste and then been confirmed as the youngest radio disc jockey and duty continuity announcer.
Television followed within a few months.
