The wonder kid was saved on the penultimate show by Amandzeba Nat Brew – one of the judges for the show – for his previous sublime performances.
Righteous, who was overwhelmed by the outcome of the show gracefully performed Amakye Dede’s “Asem To Me A, Ka Bi Ma Me” and was supported by the first runner-up, Gideon.
Righteous went for the two judges Amandzeba Nat Brew and Akwaboa Jnr to join him on stage.
The show saw Gideon Nhyiraba Osei, Ashley Chuks, Zenobia Asiedu and Blessing Alorvor placed 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th respectively.
The grand finale also experienced some silky performances from Kuami Eugene, Adina, Evangelist Annin and Kwadwo Nkansah Lil Wyn who electrified the auditorium with his performance fused with some of his famous movie walking moves.
Righteous Van-Dyke took home GHS 6000, a keyboard, laptop, tablet and a recording contract.
Surprises Of The Show
The former Member of Parliament (MP) for Gomoa Central and Deputy Minister for Gender Children and Social Protection, Rachel Nana Adwoa Apoh, who presented Ashley Chuks’ 2nd Runner-up prize to her promised to sponsor Evelyn Chuks whenever she decides to come out with a music album.
All the seven evicted contestants were also presented with GHS 500 each and and a hamper with a certificate for all the twelve contestants.
