Mr. David Kwasi Asare, District Chief Executive for Offinso North in the Ashanti Region has distributed 50 motor bikes to Assembly members in the District to help address their transportation challenges.

All the fifty Assembly members took one motor bike each costing over GHS4, 000.00, to enhance their day to day activities in their respective electoral areas.

Presenting them to the Assembly members on Thursday, March 21, 2019, the DCE said all the 50 motorbikes had been provided with crash helmets.

Mr. David Kwasi Asare appealed to the assembly members to ensure they wore their crash helmets each time they rode the bikes and avoid over speeding to protect their lives.

He also charged the assembly members to use the motorbikes for the intended purpose to increase productivity

Hon. Ali Yahaya, the Assembly member for Kubreso electoral area, who spoke on behalf of Assembly members  thanked the DCE on behalf of his colleagues for honouring his promise, adding that the gesture had not only touched the hearts of Assembly members alone but also everyone in the constituency.

He said the challenges Assembly members go through in attending Assembly sittings had now been curtailed by his kind gesture.

Mr. Ali Yahaya expressed gratitude to the DCE and Nana Akufo- Addo led government for their commitment to help develop the district, saying the motorbikes would now make it easier for

Assembly members to attend meetings on time and also monitor activities in their Electoral Areas.

He concluded that the effort by the government would help to complement the efforts of the Assembly and the government in developing the district.
