The Mpasatia Zongohene also applauded President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo led NPP government for his support after creation of the Ministry of Inner- City and Zongo Development which seeks to address the socio-economic plight of Zongo dwellers.
He thanked the Hajj Board for handling Muslim brothers smoothly without any skirmishes.
The Mpasatia Zongohene also appealed to the Hajj Board to make accommodation available for all the pilgrims so that what happened in the previous years would not repeat again.
He urged the Ghanaian Muslims to coexist peacefully with other religious bodies and also contribute their quota for the country’s socio economic development, adding “beauty of Islam was displayed by the pilgrims as all ethnic and political affiliations were put aside.”
He also urged the Hajj Board to ensure peaceful trip devoid of any stalemate at the Airport that usually happens each year and prayed Allah would give them a blessing trip devoid of any calamities.
He also wished all the pilgrims well and appeal to them to pray for the government and the country for Allah's favour and guidance.
So far, divergent roles have been played by other Hajj stakeholders including travelling agents and political parties which led to the success of the process were also recognized by the government.
