Nana Kwakye Peprah III swore the oath of allegiance to Nana Osei Kwadwo II, the chief of Bekwai, amidst drumming and dancing.
The newly installed chief expressed his appreciation to the Bekwai Traditional Council led by Nana Osei Kwadwo II for the honour done him.
Nana Kwakye Peprah III was first installed as Ankobeahene of the community but due to his selfless and readiness to bring major development to his community and its environs he has been elevated as the Etotoyehene.
The Bekwai Traditional Council urged him not to rest on his oars but continue to assist the indigenes of the community, Daniel Agyemang of Metro FM reported.
“We are all witnesses to your benevolence and the love you have for your people. We encourage you to continue and support your community and we are hopeful you will replenish your good deeds one day,” the chiefs advised him.
Nana Kwakye Peprah III called for unity among the people and said no meaningful progress could be made when they were disunited.
He therefore encouraged the people of Krofrom Besease to support him to discharge his duties effectively.
“We must accept to pull together to make things happen – transform and our living conditions better”, he added
