“I will be glad to play for Kotoko if they offer to pay me Gh¢3,000 as monthly salary” Abanga revealed on SilverFM's Saturday show dubbed Time With the Legends with host Francis Akwaffo.
Abanga expressed his desire to return to Ghana Premier League if local clubs are currently paying high salaries.
''If domestic clubs are currently paying GH¢3000 to GH¢4000 as monthly salary in the Ghana Premier League,then I must say it is big deal and I will not hesitate to sign if Asante Kotoko should offer to pay me such an amount''.
The pacy midfielder ditched the Porcupine Warriors to sign for Hearts of Oak in 2008 in one of the fierce transfer battle between the two biggest clubs in the country at the time.He also played for Elmina Sharks and Aduana Stars.
With eagerness to return to the pitch again at age 32,Abanga is still regarded as one of the young footballers to have emerged from the local scene who couldn't reach the full height of their potential.
He currently remains a free agent.
