A letter sent to the office of Osei Palmer confirmed the GFA Received the Notice of appeal on Monday October 7, at 3pm, and a notice to place injunction on the decision to disqualify him at 5:05pm.
The letter further stated that the statement in support of the appeal was received at 5:05pm on Monday October 7.
The GFA did not however explain the grounds on which the appeal was thrown out.
Meanwhile, sources say Wilfred Osei Kweku Palmer has affirmed he will be heading to the CAS, and FIFA for further redress.
The Tema Youth bankroller submitted his appeal to the Ghana Football Association on Monday October 7 in conformity with a window of opportunity granted the candidate after he was disqualified from contesting in this month’s FA Presidential election.
The Normalisation Committee acting as the Elections Committee for the 2019 GFA Presidential and Executive Council elections,last Friday, published names of aspirants who have been deemed fit to contest for GFA presidency in the upcoming elections.
The list saw Wilfred Osei Kwaku popularly known as Palmer missing out of the list of candidates vying for the top seat.
Osei Palmer in his appeal at the FA and FIFA ,also proceeded to also file a stay of execution on the FA election which is slated for October 25.
