Ghanaian Players Abroad

Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko who recently bowed out of the CAF Champions League assignment will find out the CAF Confederation Cup Playoff round opponent today as the draw for the last knockout stage takes place in Egypt.

Getting underway at 4 pm GMT at the Hilton Pyramids Hotel in Orion, the draw will determine which teams will face off in the last two-legged games preceding the group stage.

The Porcupines, who dropped from the Champions League to the second-tier inter-club competition, will be represented at the draw by the Head of Chancery at the Ghana Embassy in Egypt, Yahaya Mahama Amantana.

The team started the 2019/20 CAF campaign from the Champions League. The team eliminated Kano Pillars of Nigeria in the first knockout round of the first-tier inter-club competition but fell to Etoile du Sahel of Tunisia in the second knockout round.
