The Black Stars were knocked out of the 2019 AFCON after losing 5-4 on penalties to Tunisia in the Round of 16 match played on Monday.
The Carthage took the lead before Ghana equalized to send the game into extra time after 90 minutes.
Both teams failed to score in extra with the game moving into penalty shoot outs.
Ghana however missed one kick whiles the Tunisians converted all five kicks to send them through to the quarterfinals stage where they will play Madagascar.
The team departed their base in Ismailia for the Cairo International Airport on Wednesday.
The travelling party was without Andy Yiadom and Caleb Ekuban who have already left for London and Milan respectively.
The playing body and the technical team is reported to have landed arrived in Accra at about 3am Thursday morning.
