Ns3nku who hails from Sunyani in the Bono Region was born into a musical family as his Father who heads the Grace Community Church at Krofrom and mother (late) were singers themselves.
During an interview at the studios of Silver 98.3 FM with Nana Ampratwum on the Omanbapa morning show, Ns3nku stated that he started singing at a very tender age of which he doesn’t recall.
“Aside playing the Guitar, I also play Trumpet, Keyboard, Drums and a little bit of Saxophone. My father thought me the Keyboard and as growing the interest in music I learnt playing other instruments. I do not only sing in the church but I am the Music Director as well.” Ns3nku revealed.
“The reason I go with this Soul style is because my father used to play likes of Jimmy Reeves and the likes at home. He loves Country, Jazz and Soul music so together with my siblings, we fell in love with those Genres.” Ns3nku in response to a question pose to him by the host.
He said the ‘Emmanuel’ track which is in a fast pace making waves was composed in 2016 after completing his University Education. He further explained that the song was inspired by how God helped him in spite of some challenges he went through.
Ns3nku disclosed that he was more of an Instrumentalist at school than a singer as his Music Director wanted him to be and was later made the Leader in the Instrumental Team. He did sing on few occasions since he had to coordinate more hence the reason why he didn’t sing that much at school.
“My first invitation was to the University of Ghana, Legon during the Graduation Dinner at the School of Business through my late mother. I also performed at the 2019 Ashanti Regional GJA Awards here in Kumasi.” Ns3nku disclosed.
“I have also featured in one of Pastor Sammy Obeng Poku’s Concert, ‘Sound of Heaven’ and a few more. I currently intend to work and do the music along but will decide in due time. I will discuss it first with my family.” He furthered.
Ns3nku ended the interview in admiration by treating listeners to a free style of his ‘Emmanuel’ track.
