The New Patriotic Party's communication team in the Offinso North District cited improvement of roads running across the district and said this was helping to open up the area for rapid socio-economic progress.
They also praised the hardworking DCE for his humility, diligence and devotion to duty since he assumed office as the District Chief Executive Officer two years ago, thanking him for deepening and strengthening the social accountability systems in the district.
In a press release signed by Evans Anarwat, Director of communication and Mamoa Elijah, Director and Secretary of the communication team respectively, congratulated the DCE and the MP for the area, Hon. Augustine C. Ntim for their warm collaboration in bringing development to the constituents.
They enumerated some major achievements of Mr. David Kwasi Asare as: Construction of over 40 ultra modern public toilets in the district including rural areas, Construction of an ongoing classroom blocks including two storey building at Wiafe Akenten SHS, Afrancho DA, Nkenkaasu SHS, Akumadan Presby JHS, electrification in over 20 communities.
Other achievements they said are Supply of 600000 free cashew seedlings to farmers in 2018, 1000000 in 2019 in the district, Rehabilitation and opening up of fresh communities in the district such as Saane Ano to Nkenkaasu, Afrancho to Nfante, Asempanaye to Sarfokrom, Nkenkaasu to Seseko, Akumadan to Adejansu, Construction of DVLA ultra modern complex at Yeboah Apatem and many others.

YOUR TWO YEARS IN OFFICE PHENOMENAL, EXCELLENT AND A BLESSING TO THE PEOPLE
We the members of the New Patriotic Party's communications in the Offinso North District extends our congratulations to our DCE who is the epitome of wisdom and best in Ghana as he marks his exactly two years in office.
The District Chief Executive David Kwasi Asare's achievements in two years in collaboration with Hon. A. C. Ntim is monumental and worth celebrating.
Some of the major achievements of the DCE/MP are as follows:
1. Construction of over 40 ultra modern public toilets in the district including rural areas.
2. Ongoing Construction of classroom blocks including two storey building at Wiafe Akenten SHS, Afrancho DA, Nkenkaasu SHS, Akumadan Presby JHS, etc.
3. Completion of Assembly bungalow at Yeboah Apatem for Assembly staff.
4. Ongoing electrification in over 20 communities
5. Supply of 600000 free cashew seedlings to farmers in 2018, 1000000 in 2019 in the district.
6. Rehabilitation and opening up of fresh communities in the district such as Saane Ano to Nkenkaasu, Afrancho to Nfante, Asempanaye to Sarfokrom, Nkenkaasu to Seseko, Akumadan to Adejansu etc.
7. Ongoing construction and tarring of town roads of Nkenkaasu, Akumadan and Afrancho
8. Construction of DVLA ultra modern complex at Yeboah Apatem
9. Ongoing construction of ultra modern Assembly block at Yeboah Apatem etc
The excellent performing chief executive apart from physical projects, have also deepened and strengthened social accountability systems in the district. These include organization of fora where numerical figures of both District Assembly Common Funds and Internally Generated Funds are periodically announced with accompanying expenditure.
Hon. David Kwasi Asare has also increased public confidence in the local governance because of his down to earth demeanor which helps in leveraging wisdom from key stakeholders such as Imams, priests, pastors, traditional rulers etc. Inter - party and intra - party unity has been fortified and consolidated under Adwumawura.
In terms of media relations, the Chief executive had placed Offinso North high on the district league table for his regular updates of his initiatives in the District on the bigger media platforms.
We thank the president with utmost sincerity for appropriately appointing Hon. David Kwasi Asare as the Chief Executive for Offinso North District.
We also thank Hon. Augustine Collins Ntim, deputy minister, MP for appropriately providing the needed collaborative leadership in delivering desired services to the people.
Further thanks goes to the chiefs, queen mothers, the clergy and the people of Offinso North for providing adwumawura with prerequisite prayers and advises to advance the course of the district.
