Ghana mourns former president Jerry Rawlings
Ghana plunges into full-scale mourning from today as its citizens and mourners from the rest of the world begin paying their last respects to the late former President Jerry John Rawlings, 73, in a state funeral, which will last until Wednesday, January 27.

Akufo-Addo nominates new ministers for second term; over 16 ministers maintain portfolio
More than sixteen ministers have maintained their portfolios in President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s second term.
The presidency released the list of ministerial appointments for the next government in a press statement signed and issued by the Acting Director of Communications, Mr Eugene K.B, Arhin Thursday evening [Jan 21, 2021].

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, will, on Thursday, 21st January 2021, submit to Parliament the list of proposed Ministers and Regional Ministers of his new government to the Speaker of Parliament for the process of their prior approval for appointment, in accordance with the dictates of the Constitution.
