The deceased, Kwame Amoako who went to his farm was declared missing last Tuesday June 1, 2020.
Family members of the deceased lodged a complaint with the Mankranso District Police Command.
On Thursday, 3rd July 2020, the residents and the youth in the area decided to search for him in his farm where they later found the lifeless body.
Police officers, officials from the National Disaster Management Organization(NADMO), the Assembly Member and community members went to the scene to retrieved the body from the farm.
It was deposited at the Mankranso for autopsy.
His penis, tongue and head was cut off by an unknown assailants.
The family of the deceased has called for swift investigations into the matter and pledged the family will assist in that regard.
They described the deceased as respectful, intelligent, and hardworking.
“He has been killed and we leave it to God. But we can assist the police to ensure that those who did this are arrested, mother of the deceased stressed".
Assembly Member for the Sabronum Electoral Area, who aided in the recovery of the body to the morgue said the body nearly decomposed.
There were marks on his body suggesting that he struggled with the perpetrators”.
Meanwhile, police at the Mankranso District Command have begun investigations into the incident.
The incident has, however, thrown the workers and the residents into a state of
mourning and shock.
This incident comes two weeks after the body of another farmer believed to be in her late 30s was also found dead in the same community.
The deceased, Kwame Amoako was last seen by his family members leaving for work at his farm on June 30, 2020.
The bereaved relatives of the deceased are still demanding justice even after her burial.
