According to them the rate of crime and arm robbery attacks is increasing in the areas like Maakro, Abusua Kuruwa and others which has led to loss of lives, properties including personal belongings and injuries to innocent victims.
They also lamented of bad roads in the constituency which happens to be the cry of every constituency.
They are therefore calling on the authority to curb the crime rate in the area and fix those deplorable roads.
“Because of our bad roads, boarding vehicle from city side to our end has become a worry since drivers do not want come especially as the rains have begun. Others also complained of recently increased robbery in the area due to lack of Police patrols.” Residents charged the authorities.
The Municipal Chief Executive of the area, Hon. John Osei Bobbie in response assured them to tackle their needs.
“Solutions are already in motion as the contractor has finished constructing the gutters at Abusua Kuruwa and Maakro. The Contractor has also finished the Kwanchoma road and it is only left with the various bypasses within the townships linking to the main roads.” Hon. Osei Bobbie accounted.
