Major areas including Yenyawoso, Atimponya, AgyeBoat in Manhyia Constituency were flooded, with a number of houses submerged following the downpour.
Hundreds of homes and properties were also destroyed by the downpours.
More than 150 people have been affected and roads and bridges have been badly damaged especially at Yenawoso in Manhyia South Constituency.
In Ajeboat in the Yenyawoso the entire town was submerged under 2m of water.

Assembly Member of the area Hon Emmanuel Nti Kyei speaking to silverNEWS reporter described the experience as sad in these trying times and promised to inform the KMA Disaster Management team before the unwanted happens.
''I have already worked on the issue long ago....There have been series of meetings with the Regional feeder roads engineer and they have responded positively by taking demarcations on the necessary extensions from Yenyawoso to Atimponya''
