A shop owner, who had come to work this morning told Silver FM's Akwadaa Nyame that, she was shocked to see a dead woman in front of her store.
The frightened woman instantly raised an alarm which attracted scores of other traders and passer-by to the location.
The body of the woman, believed to be in her early 40s, was seen lying on his right side.
Most of the people that rushed to the scene said they do not know the deceased in the area.
There was no identification card or mobile phone on her to trace her relatives and it is unclear whether the woman was killed by arm robbers.
Some people at the scene claim the lady died of unknown illness because she might have struggled before passing on.
As at the time of filling the report, the traders and the residents were awaiting police personnel to convey the body to the mortuary and commence investigation into the matter.
Chairman of Justice and Security Committee in Kumasi Metropolitant Assembly who doubles as an Assembly Member for Dichemso electoral area Hon Justice Anokye has urge the traders to stop trading around the deceased to avoid the risk of contracting any disease since the cause of her death not yet known.
