There are currently 42,991 active cases of coronavirus worldwide out of the total 85,721 cases recorded in 61 countries with 35,173 (82%) of them in mild condition while 7,818 (18%) are in serious or critical condition, according to the latest figures compiled by worldometers.
Ghana has not recorded any case but the country is on high alert following one case of coronavirus recorded in neighbouring Nigeria.
In a statement, OccupyGhana called on the health authorities to be on the alert and adopt the following measures to help in dealing with the disease.

On a humor side, The MP for Kumbungu Hon Ras Mubarak has demanded that President Akufo- Addo upon his return from a European tour be quarantined following cases of the spread of the Coronavirus disease in some European countries.
''At least as our President we wish well for our him and we love him as our President even though we disagree with him on many things ...for the fact that he is on the other side does not mean that we wish him ill and so if the authorities quarantine him for the 14days mandatory period we think it will help him and his family''
