She said, nursing is a noble profession and the personnel’s have had the requisite training so there is no way a health personnel will behave otherwise.
According to her, being a nurse or a midwife is the most difficult profession ever, because nobody comes to a health facility with happiness either the patient or the caretaker, so the least action from a nurse or a midwife is considered as a sign of disrespect which is false.
Mrs. Gyamera Hagan made the comment in an interview with the media after she was crowned as the best midwife in the Central Region.
She added that, if a nurse or midwife is disrespectful, it may be as a result of his or her upbringing because charity they say begins at home.
“ If a child has a poor moral background, if he or she becomes a teacher, doctor, nurse etc, their character will be exposed,” she said.
She therefore pleaded with parent to morally train their children in Christ so that, such habit can be minimize as they grow up.
